by Within A Frame Productions
Final Frame is production management software built for indie, student, and small-crew filmmakers. It gives you a single, cinematic workspace to plan every stage of a shoot — from uploading your screenplay and breaking down scenes, to sending call sheets, tracking expenses, and closing the wrap report — without the spreadsheet chaos.
I built Final Frame because I was tired of losing shoot days to bad tools. On my own short films I bounced between spreadsheets, DIY PDFs, group texts, and half a dozen apps that were built for six-figure productions and priced like it. None of them fit the way I actually worked on a real set with a real crew and a real budget.
So I made the software I wanted to use. Something dark, focused, cinematic. Something that treats an indie feature with the same seriousness as a studio picture, without pretending your six-person crew is a hundred-person one. Something that respects the fact that most indie filmmakers are self-financed, self-taught, and self-doubting — and that the last thing they need is another SaaS pretending to be Movie Magic.
Final Frame is opinionated about the parts that matter (a proper script breakdown, honest call sheets, real SMS delivery to your cast, clean PDF exports) and easy about the parts that don’t (no timed trials, no credit card to start, no user-count math, no hidden feature gates). It is free forever for one project. Pro is $10/month for unlimited projects. Pro+ is $15/month for teams and live productions. That’s the whole pricing story.
Short films, documentaries, music videos, student thesis projects, spec pilots, first features, and any small-crew production that needs the tools professional productions rely on without a professional budget. If you’ve ever emailed a call sheet Word doc to your cast at 11:47 PM the night before a shoot day, Final Frame is for you.
Final Frame is operated by Within A Frame Productions. We’re a small, independent studio that also shoots our own work — which means every feature in Final Frame gets stress-tested on a real production before it ships.
